Named mention — One Nation
Named mention — The opposition’s challenge deserves an answer: what would Australians gain, what would the campaign cost, and how would success be measured? But domestic resilience and effective diplomacy can reinforce each other. The useful test is whether the government can connect its international ambitions to practical outcomes, publish the costs and accept scrutiny when results fall short. One Nation raises a different choice — withdrawal rather than reform or participation — whose consequences deserve examination in their own right.
